The Brushed process is achieved by repeatedly scraping lines on the surface of aluminum alloy using sandpaper. The brushed patterns are diverse, allowing the clear display of each fine line. The brushed process can give aluminum alloy a combination of fashion and a sense of technology. According to the decorative needs of aluminum alloy, its surface can be made into several brushed effects, such as straight lines, random lines, spiral lines, corrugated lines, and spiral lines. The brushed process is a new type of surface treatment process, mainly using aluminum materials and aluminum plates as substrates. It uses brushed wheels brushed sand belts, or nylon ring belts to create the desired texture on the surface. The brushed process is achieved through various chemical treatments such as embossing and roll coating.
1. Straight-line brushed treatment
Straight-line brushed treatment refers to the process of creating straight-line patterns on the surface of aluminum plates through mechanical friction. It has a dual function of removing scratches on the surface of aluminum plates and decorating the surface of aluminum plates.
2. Random brushed treatment
Random brushed treatment refers to the irregular and non-distinctive matte wire pattern obtained by moving aluminum plates back and forth under the friction of a high-speed rotating copper wire brush. This type of processing requires a higher surface requirement for aluminum or aluminum alloy plates.
3. Thread brushed treatment
Thread brushed treatment is a process where a small motor with a circular felt pad mounted on a shaft is fixed on a tabletop at an angle of approximately 60 degrees to the edge of the table. A drag plate with a fixed aluminum plate for pressing tea is placed on the tabletop, and a polyester film is used along one edge of the drag plate to limit the thread accuracy. By rotating the felt pad and linearly moving the drag plate, a thread pattern with a consistent width is created on the surface of the aluminum plate.
4. Ripple brushed treatment
Ripple brushed treatment is typically carried out on a polishing machine or a brushing machine. By utilizing the axial movement of the upper set of grinding rollers, the surface of an aluminum or aluminum alloy plate is brushed to create a ripple pattern.
5. Spiral brushed treatment
Spiral, also known as spinning, is a type of wire pattern obtained by using cylindrical felt or grinding stone nylon wheels mounted on a drilling machine. A mixture of kerosene and polishing paste is used to rotate and polish the surface of aluminum or aluminum alloy. It is commonly used for decorative processing of round signs and small decorative dials.
